Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is in doubt for the Whites’ clash with Sunderland due to a foot injury.
United boss Daniel Farke revealed the injury concern ahead of Sunday’s game.
“First of all, we have to wait and assess a little bit who is actually available for this game,” Farke said. “Our offensive players from the last game are all doubtful.
“Dominic Calvert-Lewin got a tackle and a foul late on in the last game and he is struggling since this moment with a bruise on his foot. So, problems with this and still a question mark behind his availability.
“It has improved over the last days but he was not involved in team training yet. The good thing is we have a bit more time, 48 hours. Of course, he is an important player.
“It is not a muscle injury where you have to be extra careful. It is more or less just a painful injury and as long as he can handle the pain, then everything will be OK.”
