Sunderland not rushing Brobbey’s return from injury

Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris has revealed they will take a cautious approach with striker Bryan Brobbey who has missed games recently due to a hamstring injury.

Brobbey was on the bench but went unused for the Black Cats’ midweek Europa League win over SCU Torreense.

“We decided not to rush the process,” Le Bris said.

“He is in a good place and has trained with the squad all week, but after a hamstring injury, it is still important to stay cautious.

“We have delayed his game time a little bit, but probably this week we will see him if everything is going right.”
