Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is no guarantee to line up for the Whites against Tottenham on Saturday as he continues to battle a foot issue.
Calvert-Lewin shook off the foot problem to play 90 minutes in Leeds’ 2-0 loss to Bournemouth last weekend where he had a goal disallowed.
But Leeds boss Daniel Farke revealed that DCL missed training due to the injury this week but remained optimistic on him playing in Saturday’s game.
“Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a little setback with his foot as well, was not able to train with us today,” Farke told reporters.
“But I would say I am carefully optimistic that he is back in training hopefully tomorrow and then he would also be available.”
