Thursday’s teams dropped with a range of surprise outs causing AFL Fantasy and SuperCoach chaos, with information provided on the likelihood of returns for Round 24.
Murphy Reid will miss Fremantle’s Friday night clash with Adelaide having been in doubt all week with a groin issue, although the Dockers claim he’ll be right for Round 24.
The Freo update said: “Murphy Reid has not recovered from a painful knock to his groin in time, but remains on track to return in Round 24.”
Sam Durham has surprisingly been ruled out of Essendon’s encounter with Sydney, with an update on why and his timeline.
The Club update said: “Sam Durham will miss Sunday’s game due to general soreness and will be a test for our final game against Port Adelaide next week.”
Marcus Bontempelli was listed among the outs for the Western Bulldogs’ clash with Carlton, with the Club confirming he is out “managed”, rather than any injury precluding him from playing in Round 24.
Dogs coach Luke Beveridge said Bailey Dale was “touch and go” this week but “we anticipate he might be available the following week”.
West Coast coach Andrew McQualter declared Harley Reid likely good to go following a corked quad last round. He said: “Harley is tracking well. It was a decent corky but he’s looking good to play this weekend.”
Port Adelaide named Jason Horne-Francis (knee), Brisbane named Dayne Zorko (cramp) and St Kilda named Brad Hill (knee).
