GWS Giants midfielder star Finn Callaghan is set for ankle surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.
Callaghan sustained the ankle injury late in GWS’ loss to Sydney on Saturday with scans since confirming the diagnosis.

GWS confirmed: “Callaghan sprained his ankle late in the fourth quarter during Saturday’s Sydney Derby at ENGIE Stadium.
“Following scans and a specialist consultation, Callaghan and the club’s medical team have opted for surgery to repair the damage.
“Callaghan is expected to be sidelined for approximately 12 weeks.”
