Keidean Coleman (AF $224k SC $117k MID/FWD) holds his spot in the significant team news while Alex Witherden (AF $659k SC $467k DEF) isn’t recalled.

Jack Payne (AF $179k SC $123k DEF) gets the nod to replace the injured Harris Andrews.

MAYNARD CLEAR

Brayden Maynard (AF $650k SC $497k DEF) has been given the green light to play next round despite a cork last round against Brisbane.

Collingwood Football General Manager Geoff Walsh said: “Recovering from corkie sustained during the first quarter against Brisbane. Will be right to go for Gold Coast.”

Tom Phillips (AF $582k SC $388k MID) will miss several games as expected with a hamstring injury.

Walsh said: “Scans confirm grade two hamstring injury sustained against Brisbane. 3-4 weeks on the sidelines.”

EAGLE DEBUT?

West Coast youngster Hamish Brayshaw (AF $170k SC $102k MID) looks a lock for a debut with both Jack Redden (AF $514k SC $370k MID) and Lewis Jetta (AF $512k SC $339k DEF) out injured.

Eagles coach Adam Simpson told Perth 7 News: “I think we’ll lose Jack Redden as well for possibly the entire season with a fractured thumb.”

Footy GM Craig Vozzo said: “Lewy played quite well after half-time but in the course of that he’s ended up with a calf strain. This will keep him out for two-to-three weeks.”

Hawthorn confirmed that scans have revealed James Worpel’s (AF $748k SC $451k MID) season is over with an injured AC joint in his shoulder.

Hawks Football General Manager Graham Wright said: “It’s certainly not the way James wanted to end his season & it’s disappointing that he has had to return home ahead of the rest of the group.”

TOMORROW

Adam Simpson, Damien Hardwick and Brett Ratten will speak to the media ahead of the 22s being announced for Thursday’s West Coast-St Kilda game. Round 16 will also end with Gold Coast against Brisbane.
