Max Gawn (AF $951k SC $771k RUCK) was named despite rumours of a soft tissue strain. He’s also spoke to RSN to clarify: “I’m OK… I’m no more battered and bruised than I am during the year (normally). We just checked a few things and I will train today and get on the plane and play the Crows.”

“Michael will probably be another week. Obviously we want to look after him and make sure he’s ready to go at full steam when he comes back.”
West Coast rookie Harry Edwards (AF $170k SC $123k DEF) is ticking boxing in his recovery from concussion so he could get another gig next round if Jeremy McGovern isn’t fit.

John Worsfold and Leon Cameron will speak to the media, while we’ve got the aforementioned matches in a double-header with an early start. The teams for Collingwood-Sydney and Gold Coast-St Kilda will also be named.
