Check out all the latest injury news as the final four teams released their injury updates on Tuesday night ahead of the preliminary finals.
Brisbane coach Chris Fagan already cleared Logan Morris earlier this week after being rested late against Adelaide.
Fagan said: “He just had a bit of a corkie and we had the game under control. He’s a very important player to us so we chose to take him off in the last few minutes and ice him up.”
The Lions could have Noah Answerth available after missing the semi-final with an ankle injury suffered against Sydney a fortnight ago.
Brisbane’s injury update listed him as a test and said: “Answerth will train again on Thursday to prove his fitness before coach Chris Fagan and the match committee make a call.” If he plays, he’ll likely be used to shut down Hawthorn small forward like Nick Watson or Dylan Moore.
The Hawks seem unlikely to make any changes from the side that won in Perth over Freo a fortnight ago, although ruckman Ned Reeves is available after a larynx issue, although that may only be for the VFL.

Hawthorn High Performance Manager Peter Burge said: “On the weekend, he was able to do quite a bit of our football training session on Saturday at a non-contact level. We just took care of him, but he was able to get quite a bit of work out. So, he’ll have a normal week this week, be fully back into contact (training) on Thursday and be available for the weekend.”
Sydney confirmed Callum Mills’ ACL rupture meaning he’ll be out this week, with Justin McInerney in contention to return, having been not named on the injury report.
On McInerney, Swans coach Dean Cox said: “It’s a strong discussion. We monitor his training over the past month or six weeks about what he’s actually done, how much has he done, and he’s ticked every box all the way through.
“We’ll watch our main session on Wednesday to make sure that he gets through that and then sit down with Justin and the medical team and coaches and go through that process.”
Fremantle are yet to rule out Brennan Cox (calf) and Brandon Walker (ankle) from their side to face Sydney, although both would be surprise inclusions.
Fremantle Director of Performance Adam Beard said: “(Cox) has got a lot of strength back in the calf. He did a really good session on Saturday, and full main train today, so he’ll be a test to play.
“Walker’s got his speed, agility and change of direction all back. He was a full train today, so he’ll be a test play.”
