St Kilda have confirmed Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera will not play again this home-and-away season after revealing he’d suffered a moderate grade hamstring strain.
The Saints put out an injury update on Monday afternoon following a heavy toll in Sunday night’s loss to Carlton.
Wanganeen-Milera exited the game in the first quarter with a left hamstring injury, while Mason Wood didn’t return after half-time with scans confirming a left calf strain.
Saints general manager of football Lenny Hayes said: “It was very disappointing to lose both Nasiah and Mason during the first half of last night’s game.
“Clearer recovery timelines will be determined for both players in the coming days, however both have clearly been ruled out for the remainder of the home and away season.”
The Saints also revealed Liam Ryan and Tom De Koning both had scans on shoulder injuries and will be monitored ahead of the clash with Richmond. Brad Hill wasn’t mentioned after a knee scare, although he played on.
