St Kilda coach Ross Lyon concedes it’s likely season over for Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera after a hamstring injury early in Sunday’s loss to Carlton.
Wanganeen-Milera had been in doubt with a hip pointer issue during the week, including missing a training session, before limping out of the game in the first term.
Lyon said: ” Obviously, when it’s ‘Nas’, it’s sort of an arrow through the heart in a sense.
“I’m not sure what worst case (scenario) is, but I would think, what I saw, and I don’t know much about hamstrings, (it’s) minimum three weeks.
“He’s not going to play in the home and away season.”
The Saints had plenty of injury issues, including Brad Hill who appeared in significant trouble with a left knee issue but managed to play on.
“Someone said hammy in the box, someone said knee,” Lyon said about Hill.
“He came back on. We moved him to half-forward. He gives us great run.
“He’s a three-time premiership player. I love coaching him, he’s easy, he’s a high-level player without being a superstar.”
