Port Adelaide coach Josh Carr has downplayed concerns about Jason Horne-Francis’ knee injury after hobbling out of Saturday’s heavy loss to Sydney.
Horne-Francis went down after changing direction, grabbing his left leg in a concerning sign. Port medical staff helped him off the field, failing to return to the game.
Despite that, Carr provided a positive update, revealing the testing was indicating JHF may be fine.
Carr said: “‘Hornet’ (Horne-Francis) is OK. He’s alright.
“He’s hyperextended the knee, and it obviously looked a lot worse on TV, so we all got a little bit worried about it, but he’s looking OK.
“From all the testing, it looks fine.”
