St Kilda coach Ross Lyon revealed Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera picked up a hip issue late in Saturday’s loss to Sydney but didn’t elaborate further.
Wanganeen-Milera appeared to be hindered following a clash of bodies in a marking contest that led to a gruesome ankle injury to Sydney’s Will Edwards.
The Saints superstar spent some time on the bench assessed by medical staff but did return to the game, although his impact dropped off.
Tom De Koning limped off in the third term with an apparent hamstring injury but returned. Lyon insisted it wasn’t a hamstring concern.
When asked about TDK, he replied: “No hammy. I think it was hip pointer. Nas as well, just part of the game.”
