Sydney coach Dean Cox has downplayed injury concerns for midfielder Isaac Heeney who appeared to nurse a back injury through the latter part of the game.
Cox admitted Heeney had experienced back soreness, spending time off the field as a result. He played 76% time on ground, down on 84% last round.
Heeney appeared to suffer an issued during the third term in an incident where he grabbed for his back after sliding for a loose ball.
“He was obviously sore for the back part of that game,” Cox said.
“The thing with Isaac is as soon as he rocks up, he wants to play and play all the way through.
“You want him to play ahead of the ball as well to try and kick you a score, around the middle of the ground where you need some ascendancy.
“He’s probably the one we always look to. He’s carried a fair load this year.”
