Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge has provided injury updates on Bailey Dale and Tim English, revealing he’s hoping both are available next round.
Dale was benched late in the Dogs’ win over West Coast on Sunday, while English missed the game altogether with an ongoing back issue.
The Dogs are next in action away to Gold Coast on Sunday, with Beveridge hopeful on the pair.
On Dale, he said: “Bailey Dale has just got a bit of a shoulder knock. Hopefully he should be OK.
“Other than that, I think we came out of the game pretty healthy.”
On English, Beveridge said: “Hopefully he’ll be available for selection. We’ll work through that through the week. He should be a chance.
“He’s got a chronic back problem. When you have something like that, it’s debilitating.
“It’s not a position you can play too well if you’ve got something wrong with your back.
“Hopefully he can get through the training load. Then we’ll head up north and see what happens.”
