Caleb Serong will miss another game but Fremantle are hopeful he’ll return in Round 13 from a calf injury.
Serong missed Fremantle’s win over St Kilda on Friday night and has all but been ruled out of Saturday’s Round 12 clash with Brisbane Lions at the Gabba.
Fremantle head of football Joe Brierty told ABC Radio that they were hoping Serong would be fit for their Round 13 game with North Melbourne in Bunbury.
He is probably that one where we are looking at a test for North,” Brierty said.
“Again that is going to be dependent on how he progresses through this week as well.
“He is obviously going to miss Brisbane but he is building towards the North game and what that looks like.”
