St Kilda coach Ross Lyon says Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera could return from his calf injury sooner or later than the 3-week timeline provided earlier this week.
Wanganeen-Milera missed the Saints’ loss to Gold Coast last round, withdrawn one hour pre-game.
The Saints since revealed the gun half-back flanker has a “minor calf strain”, listing him as 3 weeks in their injury report this week.
Lyon was asked about Wanganeen-Milera’s status on Friday.
“It’s not a set and forget program,” Lyon told reporters in typical gruff fashion.
“It could be earlier. It could be longer.
“I hand it over to sports science and rehab and get out of the way to be honest.”
