Essendon coach Brad Scott has offered an insight into Elijah Tsatas’ omission from last round’s loss to the Brisbane Lions despite recent good form.
The former AFL Draft pick 5 was left out of the Dons’ side against the Lions, instead picking up 34 disposals with 10 clearances in the VFL.
Tsatas has played 3 games this year, averaging 24 disposals per game, with his axing coming as a surprise.
“Elijah does some things really, really well,” Scott explained after the Lions loss.
“He’s been fantastic in working with the coaching group on the things he needs to improve.
“We’re going to double down on working with him on those things.”
