Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge says Marcus Bontempelli is OK despite concerns of a knee issue after a hyperextension in Friday’s loss to Geelong.
Bontempelli had an off night with minimal impact in the heavy defeat, compounded by a knee issue in the third quarter.
The Dogs finished with 14 disposals and no marks, blanketed by a close tag from Oisin Mullin.
Beveridge said: “He started the game 100%. He did have a little concern but my understanding is that he’s OK.”
The Dogs lost Tom Liberatore to concussion during the game, along with key forward Sam Darcy with a worrying knee injury.
Key defenders Rory Lobb and James O’Donnell both picked up hamstring injuries too.
