Malcolm Rosas Jnr (AF $311k SC $240k FWD) has been ruled out for a few games with a hamstring injury. Suns Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull said: “Unfortunately sustained a hamstring strain in the game on the weekend…we expect him to miss two weeks but will continue to assess his progress.”

Hewago Paul Oea (AF $207k SC $123k M/F) looks like he’ll be available to play despite a finger injury. Bull said: “Late in the fourth quarter Hewago Paul Oea also dislocated his finger, however it was quickly put back in and he will be available for selection this week.”

Braydon Preuss (AF $657k SC $444k RUC) is in contention for an AFL recall. Giants caretaker coach Mark McVeigh said: “We’ll have a decision this week around our rucks. Obviously Preuss played in the VFL again which was great to see him going. Briggsy had a pretty good game. Jacob Hopper (AF $724k SC $527k MID) will return for GWS following long-term injury. McVeigh said: “He will (play in the AFL)… on the weekend he was fantastic (in VFL), he played pretty much 100% TOG and had 32 possessions.”

Dayne Zorko (AF $637k SC $391k D/M) is likely to face a fitness test on Thursday following his hamstring strain. Zorko said: “My body actually feels pretty good. It’s going to come down to Thursday’s session, what speeds I can reach and my confidence in my body… I think to rush back based on what’s happening would be reckless.”

Collingwood’s latest injury report claims that Brodie Grundy (AF $802k SC $544k RUC) is likely to return around Round 19-20 which may impact Darcy Cameron’s (AF $786k SC $536k F/R) role.
