Most Relevant Players

Marcus Bontempelli (AF $806k SC $589k M/F)

Gains forward status. Sits sixth for averages among forwards in AFL Fantasy at 98, marginally ahead of Luke Parker and behind Tim Taranto. Sits fourth for averages among forwards in SuperCoach at 111.

Bailey Smith (AF $903k SC $552k M/F)

Earns forward status. He is the highest averaging AFL Fantasy player (118) thus likely to be a top-six forward, so needs to be in your plans. He’s got the third best average among forwards in SuperCoach.

Jayden Short (AF $838k SC $536k D/M)

Gains midfield status after an extended run in the middle for the Tigers, thus offers some flexibility but likely to be a top-six defender anyway. Averaging 104 in AFL Fantasy (currently third for averages among defenders) and 107 in SuperCoach (seventh for defender averages).

Darcy Cameron (AF $694k SC $470k R/F)

Earns ruck status. Owned by 13.4% in AFL Fantasy, thus he’s relevant there, compared to 4% ownership in SuperCoach. Averaging 76 in Fantasy across the season, so way off the top two, but is being used as a stepping stone and has averaged 103.6 since Brodie Grundy went out injured.

Isaac Heeney (AF $657k SC $462k M/F)

Midfield status added, but most owners would be hoping he’s a top-six forward. Has faded in both formats lately, with only one ton in SuperCoach over the past six weeks. Still ranked sixth for forward averages in SuperCoach at 100.9.

Relevant Rookies

Jason Horne-Francis (AF $517k SC $316k M/F)

Gains forward status. High ownership early but many have moved him on in recent weeks. Still owned by 25% in AFL Fantasy and 22% in SuperCoach. DPP offers flexibility when you opt to downgrade/upgrade him.

Ben Hobbs (AF $459k SC $296k M/F)

Earns forward status. His owners have been patient after a slow start. With break-evens of 38/27 (AF/SC) he’s got more cash to make, with his forward status offering flexibility when it’s time to trade.

Robbie McComb (AF $387k SC $248k M/F)

Also gains forward status. Similar boat to Hobbs although he’s been a more popular pick with 12% ownership in AFL Fantasy and 21% in SuperCoach. Low BE of 6 in SuperCoach.
