CCJ ruled out of R17, Cripps set for fitness test, Lions confident on Neale return

Richmond confirmed Callum Coleman-Jones will miss this round, there’s an injury cloud over Patrick Cripps while Brisbane are bullish that Lachie Neale will return after his calf issue last round.

The diagnosis for Callum Coleman-Jones‘s (AF $404k SC $276k F/R) calf injury is in, with the Tigers big man expected to miss 1-2 weeks.

Richmond Physical Performance Manager Peter Burge said: “CJ will most likely miss this weekend, but we expect that he will be in a position next week to return to play.”

Meanwhile, ruckman Toby Nankervis (AF $628k SC $468k RUCK) looms as “probable” this week, which may keep out Coleman-Jones when fit.
