UPDATES

Sixers coach Greg Shipperd revealed that Sean Abbott ($219k BWL) will definitely play in Sunday’s match against the Hurricanes, after missing Friday’s loss to the Thunder following Test duty.

Shipperd said: “Sean will come back into the side. We reckon it was important for him to get some white ball skilled bowling under his belt before he’s out in that environment. He’ll be a welcome addition.”

He also provided an update on Test pair Nathan Lyon ($102k BWL) and Mitch Starc ($190k BWL), who appear unlikely to play in BBL|10.

“We’ll ask about the status of Nathan and Mitch,” Shipperd said. “It’s been prudent for us to leave them alone during that series. We’ll touch base quietly with them.”

TOMORROW
