Gold Coast v St Kilda
Saints coach Brett Ratten said late withdrawal Jarryn Geary (AF $308k SC $282k DEF/FWD) would be right for next week, after being tight in the lead-up.

Collingwood v Sydney
Adam Treloar (AF $842k SC $609k MID) will miss several weeks with a hamstring injury. Pies coach Nathan Buckley said: “Ads is a minor hammy but you’d be looking at 3 weeks for that… He’ll miss some footy.”

Isaac Quaynor (AF $420k SC $333k DEF) will also be out for several weeks after sustaining a nasty wound on his leg/ankle. Buckley said: “That will be a couple of weeks. It’ll depend on how you can clean the wound and heal that up.”

Will Hoskin-Elliott (AF $468k SC $340k MID/FWD*) went off early with bone bruising in the knee.

Adelaide v Melbourne
Will Hamill (AF $303k SC $215k DEF) suffered an early concussion, his second for the season. Crows coach Matthew Nicks said: “He’s pretty good post-game in the rooms. We need to monitor that. He’s had a number of concussions but he was in good spirits at half-time.”

Brodie Smith (AF $652k SC $406k DEF/MID*) was a late withdrawal with a knee knock. Nicks said: “We were pushing with Brodie, he was 40-60 coming into today. It’s bruised and battered. The decision was made to give him a 10-day break. hopefully over the next few days he improves it.”

Demons coach Simon Goodwin acknowledged Max Gawn (AF $951k SC $771k RUCK) is sore post-game. He said: “He’s fine. Unbelievable performance to get up for this game, he was sore. He’s carrying a few little niggles… We’ll assess him and make sure he’s right.”

Geelong v North Melbourne
Ben Brown
(AF $397k SC $269k FWD) injured his knee early in the game and didn’t return. North coach Rhyce Shaw said: “He was bad enough to keep him out of the game. I haven’t had much chat with the medical staff at the moment. We’ll hope for the best.”

Geelong coach Chris Scott flagged he may make numerous changes and manage several players again for their next game against St Kilda on Monday.

Richmond v Brisbane Lions
Cam Rayner (AF $494k SC $386k MID/FWD) injured his hamstring before half-time and sat out the rest of the game. Lions coach Chris Fagan said: “I don’t think it’s a bad hamstring. Obviously he’ll need a scan and that’ll be assessed. They’re always 2-3 weeks at the best.”

Tigers coach Damien Hardwick reiterated that skipper Trent Cotchin (AF $621k SC $475k MID) will likely be rested for their Round 11 clash with Port Adelaide. Hardwick said: “He’s probably the one at this stage that won’t play.”

Port Adelaide v Western Bulldogs
No new injuries, although Port coach Ken Hinkley said he expects Scott Lycett (AF $645k SC $538k RUCK) to be back in contention next round. Hinkley said: “I expect Scott to be available next week. You’re never sure but he trained today well so he should be OK.”

Hinkley couldn’t guarantee Brad Ebert (AF $609k SC $421k FWD) would return from concussion either. He said: “He had some delayed concussion. That’s where he’s at. We’ll wait for Brad to recover. He’ll work his way back.”

Port’s Sam Mayes (AF $398k SC $301k MID) has been offered a one-game ban by the Match Review Officer (MRO) for Rough Conduct against Josh Dunkley. The MRO statement said: “He can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea. The incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact & High Contact.”
