COUPLE FOR ZORKO
Brisbane Lions confirmed that midfielder Dayne Zorko (AF $687k, SC $501k – MID) will miss two to three games.
Lions High Performance Manager Damien Austin said: “It will be two or three weeks. Hopefully we’ll get him back soon as there’s not too much damage there.
“It was disappointing throughout the game, but he did all the training and hit all the measures that we needed him too to tick the boxes.”
Austin also said ruckman Stefan Martin was firmly in the mix to return in Round Five after a hamstring issue.
GOOD PATTON
Jon Patton (AF $337k, SC $304k – FWD) still has more owners than you’d expect, despite his slow start and recent foot issue, but it looks like he’ll be back this weekend after being a late withdrawal in Round Four.
Hawthorn Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd: “His function wasn’t quite good enough for us to play him. He managed to train fully today though and he should be available to play this weekend.”
Boyd also confirmed that forward Luke Breust will miss four-to-five weeks after jaw surgery.
FINE DUSTY
If you’re worried about the fitness of Dustin Martin (AF $712k, SC $530k – MID/FWD) after his recent ribs issue, you can stop.
