Another week, another bunch of genuine captaincy options. If you’ve got Dawson, Jackson, Daicos or NAS, you’re in a great spot.
Here’s where I’m leaning…
⭐ Isaac Heeney vs Bulldogs
The Bulldogs don’t tag, and Heeney has been phenomenal this season. This has all the ingredients for another premium score in what should be one of the games of the round.
Prediction: 125+
⭐ Brodie Grundy vs Bulldogs
English is clearly carrying something, and while Grundy hasn’t exploded recently, this feels like the week he reminds everyone why he’s an elite SuperCoach ruck.
Prediction: 130+
⭐ Marcus Bontempelli vs Swans
He hasn’t quite hit the ridiculous heights we’ve come to expect, but he’s building every week. You never bet against Bont.
If not for the next bloke, he’d be my VC.
🔥 Jordan Dawson vs West Coast
This is my favourite VC of the round. He’s been in unbelievable form since the byes, and West Coast simply don’t have an answer for someone who can impact every part of the ground.
Everything points to another monster. Prediction: 150+
🎯 Riley Thilthorpe vs West Coast
This is the spicy one. I don’t think many coaches will even consider him, but as an owner I’ve got a feeling he’s about to explode.
Six goals? Why not. Prediction: 120+
⭐ Max Gawn vs Hawks
The safest captain in the game.
He just refuses to fail.
I don’t see a monster score against Hawthorn, but I’d be shocked if he isn’t comfortably over 120 again.
🚀 Luke Jackson vs GWS
If Dawson doesn’t get there… This is where I’m going.
Jackson against GWS’ ruck setup could get ugly. Fremantle are flying and he’s a massive reason why. Prediction: 140+
⭐ Andy Brayshaw vs GWS
Quietly one of the form midfielders in the competition.
Gets another matchup that suits. Prediction: 120+
👑 Nick Daicos vs Gold Coast
No tag. That’s enough for me. If the Suns let him do what he wants, we’ve already seen what can happen.
Another 150+ wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest.
⭐ Cripps / Walsh vs Richmond
Both could absolutely feast here.
Great captain options… …but I’d still rather back Dawson, Jackson kr the next option.
🔥 Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera vs Essendon
One of the hottest players in SuperCoach.
The Saints’ backline runs through him, and Essendon have looked vulnerable. This could get ugly. Prediction: 140+
⭐ Zak Butters vs North Melbourne
Finn O’Sullivan could get the tagging role.
That possibility alone is enough for me to look elsewhere this week.
⭐ Harry Sheezel vs Port Adelaide
He’s been one of the best SuperCoach players in the competition all season.
Another massive score wouldn’t surprise anyone. Prediction: 140+
⭐ Tristan Xerri vs Port Adelaide
The POD captain. Not one I’ll be taking…but I completely understand anyone chasing rank who rolls the dice.

VC: Jordan Dawson ⭐ If he doesn’t hit the number…
Captain: Luke Jackson 🔥 If you’re looking to be a little different, Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera is my favourite POD captain for the round.
