The Melbourne Stars have been boosted by the return of Beau Webster to their 14-man squad to face the Sydney Thunder in Canberra on Saturday.
Webster is free to play after being released from the Test squad, having not made the final XI.
He’s a likely replacement for Tom Rogers who suffered a hip injury while fielding against the Sydney Sixers on Boxing Day. The Stars confirmed he has returned to Melbourne to have scans on his hip flexor.
