Luckless Scorchers quick Jhye Richardson injured his shoulder celebrating a wicket but managed to return to the field to bowl and take another wicket.
Richardson is priced at $130k in SuperCoach, firming as a good option for the Scorchers in Round 2 double.
But Sunday’s injury scare is a worry, with Richardson taking 2 wickets in 2 balls in his first over, before dislocating his shoulder dishing out high fives in celebration.
It looked curtains for Richardson at that point as he exited in the hands of the WA physio.
But he would return to bowl the 12th over of the innings with a compression sleeve on, in a four-over spell that included another wicket.
Richardson bowled another three-over spell and then a two-over spell late in the day as SA steadied against WA to be 4-139 after slumping to 4-31.
It is anticipated Richardson will be fine to continue bowling on day 3 in Adelaide. He had 3-26 from 10 overs at stumps.
