Robbie McComb and Greg Clark both enjoyed strong performances in the VFL and WAFL respectively over the weekend to push their cases for recalls and potentially offer some timely midfield cover.
McComb had 30 disposals including five clearances with 10 marks and seven tackles plus a goal, netting 137 AFL Fantasy points.
He wasn’t alone in a 123-point win, with Lachie Hunter among their best with 31 touches. Buku Khamis was quiet, although he wasn’t busy in defence.
Greg Clark had 23 touches for the Eagles in a 23-point loss to Subiaco on Saturday, along with 10 tackles.
Will Gould put his hand up for a long awaited Sydney debut with 24 disposals and 10 marks for the Swans on Sunday, while Josh Kennedy suffered a fresh hamstring injury in that game.
