Waiting in the Wings: Clark pushes for debut, Erasmus impresses, Carroll in mix for Carlton debut

Greg Clark is banging down the door of a highly anticipated debut after another dominant game in the WAFL, coming at the right time with Elliot Yeo out with concussion protocols.

Clark finished with 25 disposals and a game-high seven tackles in the Eagles’ WAFL game.

Across town, Neil Erasmus pressed his case for a Fremantle recall with 34 possessions, 11 marks and seven tackles in the WAFL, although he underwent a late concussion test.

Jack Carroll also impressed for Carlton and could be in line for a debut, while a strong game from Callum-Coleman Jones could tempt North Melbourne to play an additional tall alongside Tristan Xerri.
