Cheap Sixers bat Daniel Hughes ($78k BAT) made scores of 59 and 89*for the match. Another cheapie, Strikers bat, Matt Short ($62k BAT) blasted 90, while Scott Boland ($144k BWL) boosted his Australia A chances with eight wickets for the match, including a second innings 5fa.

In WA, unsigned Sam Whiteman made an impressive century, while Scorchers bat Cameron Bancroft ($92k BAT/WKP) scored his third Premier Cricket hundred in a row. Perth fast bowler Andrew Tye took a 6fa.
