UPDATES

Hawthorn have confirmed it is season over for Changkuoth Jiath (AF $502k SC $406k DEF) due to the knee injury sustained on the weekend.

Hawks Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd said: “Unfortunately CJ has sustained a PCL injury to that knee.

“Generally with a PCL injury, we don’t get much change in six-to-eight weeks, even for the lower grade ones so that will mean he will not be available to play for the remainder of the season. On a positive note, we don’t anticipate this being a long-term issue for CJ and we think he will recover quite well from the injury.”

Josh Dunkley (AF $823k SC $634k M/F) is set for an imminent return this round after his long lay-off with a shoulder injury.

Western Bulldogs head of sports medicine Chris Bell said: “He has been back into full training for the last couple of weeks & hasn’t missed a beat. He will be looking to put his hand up for selection this weekend.”
