Zac Smith (AF $394k SC $299k RUCK) is a relevant casualty with concussion. Suns Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull said: β€œIn the days after the game Zac has experienced some concussive-type symptoms. He’ll miss this week’s match.”

Noah Anderson (AF $513k SC $360k MID) is out with hand surgery, meaning he’ll miss a few, which boosts the job security of Jeremy Sharp (AF $251k SC $141k MID) who has attracted attention in AFL Fantasy.

Another Suns midfielder, Hugh Greenwood (AF $673k SC $510k MID), is also out for personal reasons.

Richmond have made numerous changes, with Riley Collier-Dawkins (AF $376k SC $237k MID) returning although most SuperCoach and AFL Fantasy coaches have moved him on.

UPDATES

It was a relatively quiet day with teams relocating and most Victorian clubs doing their pressers on Friday.

Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir spoke to the media in Melbourne and offered an update on Nat Fyfe (AF $659k SC $538k M/F*) which hardly declared him right to go.

He said: “It’s improving day by day, his strength has come up from last week. We are a lot more confident.”

Demons coach Simon Goodwin spoke to the media and talked up Ben Brown (AF $451k SC $268k FWD) who looms as a cheap SuperCoach option.

Goodwin said: “He kicked five in the VFL but his training form & some of his match scrimmage stuff’s been outstanding as well so he’s starting to put together a big block of form which puts him right in the calculations.”

TOMORROW

Coaches Leon Cameron, David Teague and Adam Simpson are due to speak to the media, while we’ll get the teams for the weekend and the round starts with Gold Coast-Richmond from 7:20pm AEST.
