Murphy given green light, Bowes ruled out, Ryan close, rookie options loom

Pies rookie Nathan Murphy got the green light to return from concussion delighting many SuperCoach and AFL Fantasy owners, while Jack Bowes’ diagnosis was confirmed.

Collingwood rookie Nathan Murphy (AF $264k SC $159k DEF) looks set to be available after concussion forced him to miss last round.

Pies High Performance Manager Kevin White said: “Both Murph & Rough have passed concussion tests this week… Full training on Friday & be available for selection this week.”

Taylor Adams (AF $752k SC $506k MID) is also closer in on a return from injury, sooner than expected.

White said: “Tay is expected to return to play will be next week against Geelong (R11). He’ll step up that final component of his return to play this week.”
