Scorchers captain Ashton Turner provided an update on Ashton Agar ($102k BAT/BWL), with some talk he may get back for BBL finals after calf and finger injuries.
Turner said: “Ash’s calf injury was worse than we first anticipated. He needs a bit more time out of the game. He’s also got a broken finger so he’s not been in the nets yet.”
He was also asked about Mitch Marsh ($144k BAT/BWL) and Turner said: “He won’t be bowling again this tournament. Sides take some time.”
Round 13 starts with the Strikers-Thunder game. We’ll learn the squads for Tuesday’s triple-header which will finish off Round 13 and the regular season.
