Milne set to debut for Thunder, Agar 1-2 weeks away, Rauf takes 3fa in NZ

Adam Milne is close to making his BBL debut for the Sydney Thunder as he shakes off a hamstring injury, while Haris Rauf and Imad Wasim showed some form for Pakistan in New Zealand.

UPDATES

Ashton Agar ($102k BAT/BWL) was listed in the Perth Scorchers weekly media update as still being 1-2 weeks away from a return to playing with a calf injury.

Sydney Thunder speedster Adam Milne ($125k BWL) looks likely to get the all-clear to debut on Tuesday after a hamstring injury. Milne spoke to AAP and indicated he’s close to resuming.

Strikers replacement player Ryan Gibson ($57k BAT) may be out of their calculations for a while having suffered a hamstring strain and returned home from the bio-secure hub.

FORM LINES

Pakistani duo Haris Rauf ($213k BWL) and Imad Wasim ($160k BAT/BWL) have been in the thick of the action in their opening two T20 Intenrationals against New Zealand on Friday and Sunday.

Stars recruit Rauf dominated with three economical wickets in the first T20I, bowling overs sporadically throughout the NZ chase, but went without breakthrough in the second. His tallies are 0*(1) 3-29(4) and 0-39(4).

Renegades import Imad has made some handy middle-order runs in the dying overs with the bat, while he’s not managed a wicket yet. His tallies are 19(14) 0-14(2) and 10*(5) 0-25(3).

The final T20I is on Tuesday with the two-match Test series commencing on Boxing Day. The Tests are due for completion on January 7 although Pakistan haven’t officially named their Test squad but Imad and Haris have recently not been part of the red ball side.
