The Melbourne Renegades have made 2 changes to their 14-player squad for Thursday night’s clash with the Perth Scorchers at Marvel Stadium.
Fast bowler Brendan Doggett returns after hamstring awareness along with spinning all-rounder Matthew Spoors. The players to make way are Andrew Tye and Callum Stow.

The Scorchers have been forced into one change, with wicketkeeper-batsman Josh Inglis unavailable due to CA workload management after the Ashes Test series and ahead of the T20 World Cup.
Perth’s update said: “Wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis has returned to Perth and will miss the contest under a Cricket Australia workload management plan.”
Inglis drops out of the squad with the Scorchers not replacing him, naming a 13-player squad.
It’s unclear who’ll keep for Perth, with their update stating: “Powerful left-handed batters Nick Hobson and Sam Fanning retain their place in the squad and could be called upon to replace Inglis, while Finn Allen and Laurie Evans have both worn the gloves in BBL|15.”

Melbourne Stars captain Marcus Stoinis has been cleared of any finger/thumb injury from Tuesday’s game where he retired hurt, according to SEN’s Tom Morris. He reports that Stoinis will line up against the Scorchers on Saturday in Perth.
Morris also reports that English import Joe Clarke is available for that game following a hip injury.
Hobart Hurricanes bowler Chris Jordan rolled his ankle bowling in Wednesday’s game, meaning he didn’t bowl the 20th over but did come out to bat at 8, albeit impaired.
