The Sydney Sixers, Melbourne Stars, Perth Scorchers and Hobart Hurricanes squads have been confirmed for the Boxing Day double-header.

Sean Abbott has been named to return for the Sydney Sixers, who announced their 14-player squad to face the Melbourne Stars at the SCG on Boxing Day.
Abbott is one of three changes for the Sixers, alongside the addition of spinner Ben Manenti and local replacement player Jake Scott, who is an all-rounder who bowls leggies.
Manenti and Scott could foreseeably cover spinner Todd Murphy who is out after being called into the Test squad, while Hayden Kerr and Mitch Perry have been omitted.

The Stars have listed Tom Rogers in their 14-player squad despite a knee concern preventing him from batting last game.
All-rounder Jono Merlo comes into the squad, with fast bowler Tom Whitney, in a sign that they may be teeing up a batsman to cover Rogers’ absence.

Spinner Corey Rocchiccioli has been added to the Perth Scorchers’ 14-man squad for their clash with the Hobart Hurricanes at Optus Stadium.
Jhye Richardson is unavailable after being called into the Australian squad for the Boxing Day Test.

The Hurricanes will be without wicketkeeper Matthew Wade due to an undisclosed injury sustained last game, with batsman Mac Wright added to their 14-player squad.
On Wade, Hobart’s update said: “His fitness will be monitored ahead of the Hurricanes next match on the Monday 29 December against the Renegades.”
