Adelaide Strikers captain Matthew Short has tipped Liam Scott to have a breakout BBL|15 after showing glimpses of his quality last campaign.
Strikers all-rounder Scott, who is priced at $122k, played 5 games for Adelaide last season, scoring 87 runs including a high score of 67 with 2 wickets.
When asked about breakout players, Short said: “One that comes to mind is Liam Scott.
“He’s been threatening for the last couple of years here at the SACA and in and out of our team.
“He finished the year really well for us last year. He’s been in good form this year for the SACAs. I’m hoping he can get a good season in for us with both bat and ball.”
Strikers coach Tim Paine also revealed his side has a “clean bill of health”.
That comes after fears of an injury to Chris Lynn after retiring hurt batting in the Nepal Premier League last week.
Lynn returned home to Australia with his side Sudur Paschim Royals finishing top and still contending in the finals.
