Hobart Hurricanes big-hitter Tim David will head into BBL|15 full of form and confidence after winning the title and Player of the Tournament in the Abu Dhabi T10 League.
David was the Player of the Final after blasting 98* from 30 balls batting at 4, helping UAE Bulls post 1-150 from its 10 overs, with Aspin Stallions falling well short, scoring 4-70.
The batsman’s knock came only hours after he fired the Bulls to victory in the Qualifier with 57* from 18 balls against Quetta Qavalry.
David’s incredible form is hugely relevant with his Hurricanes having 2 doubles inside the opening 3 rounds of the upcoming SuperCoach BBL season.
David was named Player of the Tournament after their final victory, plus won the competition’s Batter of the Tournament gong too.

Across the T10 League, David scored the most runs with 393 from 9 innings, with a competition-best strike rate of 263.75. He posted 26 fours and 38 sixes from his 9 knocks.
The next best batsman – teammate Phil Salt – had 137 less runs, emphasizing David’s dominance.
David will get more match practice ahead of BBL|15, given he’s contracted with the Sharjah Warriorz in the ILT20 in AUE which starts on Tuesday.
It is expected, he’ll exit the ILT20 to prioritise the BBL with the Hurricanes although it’s unclear if he’ll play in their warm-up games, which might offer an insight into his batting role, with scope he could be elevated by Hobart after impressing at 4 for Australia and in the T10 League.
Hobart’s season opener is Tuesday 16 December against the Sydney Thunder.
