The weekly injury reports are starting to trickle out with key updates across the board to help guide your Round 21 trade targets and trade-outs.
Port Adelaide didn’t list Connor Rozee in their injury update but assistant coach Josh Carr was asked about him on Monday. He said: “I think he’s certain to play (this weekend). From the game, and watching the footage, he got a number of smothers, and he’s pretty committed, and he didn’t look like he winced at any time. So I think he’ll be right.”
Rozee also spoke to SEN on Tuesday and provided a more concerning update about his ability to last the remaining 4 games. He said: “The plan is to play again this week and to just keep going until I feel like I can’t anymore.”
Richmond have listed Tim Taranto (calf) as a test to play this week after being a late withdrawal on the weekend. Tigers high performance manager Ben Serpell said: “Tim had a bit of calf tightness after the Perth game (against West Coast), unfortunately he felt that still in the warmup going into the game.
“What we’re going to do is take a conservative approach. We’ll put him on a test for this week. Also, his conditioning over the last week is something we’re considering in helping make that decision. Hopefully he’s OK this week and hopefully on the plane, but we’ll go conservative with him if we have to.”

Richmond also revealed Kane McAuliffe (quad) and Campbell Gray (knee) have injuries and will both miss 4-6 weeks.
Suns midfielder Touk Miller (hamstring) has been listed as probable after a fortnight on the sidelines. Suns head physio Lindsay Bull said: “Both Touk and Will (Graham) train fully this week and we expect them to both be putting their hand up for selection this weekend.”
West Coast confirmed Harley Reid’s season is over due to a syndesmosis injury, while Bo Allan’s season is also done following a low-grade syndesmosis injury.
Eagles High Performance Manager Mat Inness said: “Bo Allan got his foot caught up in a tackle at training on Thursday and suffered a low-grade syndesmosis injury. Once again, due to the time of the year, this will rule him out for the season.”
Cooper Harvey will be “available for selection” after missing North’s last game. The Kangas update said: “Harvey, who missed last weekend due to illness, has resumed full group training and will be available for selection this week.”
GWS confirmed Josh Kelly is out for 3-4 weeks with a calf injury, while Essendon updated Jordan Ridley has suffered a low-grade strain to his left hamstring.
Collingwood revealed Lachie Sullivan’s season is over due to a PCL injury which might open the door for Roan Steele to return.
Keidean Coleman has sustained a new quad injury in the VFL and will miss 6-8 weeks. Brisbane also revealed Connor McKenna (hamstring) is out for 4 weeks and Kai Lohmann (calf) out for 3-4. Dayne Zorko wasn’t listed in Brisbane’s injury update.
St Kilda young gun Mattaes Phillipou is a test to return this weekend following a plantaris injury. The Saints update said: “Phillipou has ticked off all key rehabilitation milestones and set to re-join main training this week.”
Saints youngsters Isaac Keeler (hamstring) and Hugo Garcia (wrist) are also facing fitness tests.
