GameDay Squad Card Exchange
The GameDay Squad Card Exchange is a dedicated platform that allows users to trade in their unwanted player cards in exchange for GameDay Squad packs! This feature enables you to strategically refine by capitalizing on the value of your existing cards in exchange for everyone’s favourite… Packs!
Completing the exchange process is easy! Simply get in contact with GameDay Squad either via email or discord, with the players and rarity you would like to exchange, complete a trade with GameDay Squad and once confirmed you will be sent pack codes. Below is a run down of what your cards can get you:
Aussie Rules, Rugby League, Women’s Aussie Rules:
- 1 Legend = 5 X 9 Unique Pack (Max 1 exchange a day per coach)
- 1 All-Star = 2 x 9 Unique Pack
- 4 Diamonds = 3 Player Unique Pack
- 4 Platinums = 1 Player Rare Pack
- 4 Gold = 1 Player Common Pack
- 4 Silver = Starter Pack Bundle
Cricket (all types) and Basketball:
- 1 Legend = 5 X 3 Unique Pack (Max 1 exchange a day per coach)
- 1 All-Star = 2 x 3 Unique Pack

Squad Builders
Squad building challenges give coaches the opportunity to construct unique squads based on specific challenge requirements in exchange for exclusive rewards. This feature is currently only available via email and Discord, with plans for future integration into the GameDay Squad platform.
Important: To claim your reward, the exchange is permanent—the cards submitted for the challenge will no longer be in your collection.
Each week, the GameDay Squad team will release new squad-building challenges for the community to complete. To earn rewards, coaches must meet all challenge requirements within the given timeframe.
How to Participate
Coaches can take part in Squad Building Challenges through two methods:
1. GameDay Squad Discord
- Each week, new squad-building challenges will be announced in the relevant Squad Builder Discord channels.
- Coaches must submit a screenshot of their completed challenge squad within the squad page.
- The GameDay Squad team will verify the submission. If approved, they will set up a trade request for the required player cards to be exchanged for rewards.
- Once the trade is fully completed, notify the GDS staff member who initiated the request.
- After final verification, your reward will be sent via DM (Direct Message) in Discord.
2. Email Submission

- To participate, coaches must email a screenshot of their completed squad challenge to contact@gamedaysquad.com.au with the challenge name in the subject line.
- A GameDay Squad team member will review the submission and set up a trade request from the ‘GDS Official’ account.
- Once the trade is fully completed, notify the team via the same email thread.
- After verification, your reward will be sent via email.

2025 GDS Cup
The 2025 GDS Cup is an exciting competition that offers coaches the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete for prestigious titles and rewards. Participating in the GDS Cup allows you to engage with the broader GameDay Squad community, test your strategies against other top coaches, and experience the thrill of high-stakes fantasy sports.
Competition Details:
- Format: The 2025 GDS Cup follows traditional survivor fantasy rules.
- Competition Type: All squads must adhere to STARTER COMPETITION squad rules.
- Participants: A total of 1,048 coaches will compete. (Top 1048 post round 1 for Aussie Rules and Round 2 for Rugby League)
- Fixtures: Each round’s matchups are randomised.
- Number of Rounds: The competition spans 10 rounds, starting March 20, 2025.
- Sports: Both Rugby League and Aussie Rules GDS Cups will start on March 20, 2025.
- How to Enter: As the coach, you don’t need to do anything besides set your Starter Competition squads each round! From there the GDS Team will create the fixtures and provide updates after each round for who is progressing, and who has been knocked out
The rules are simple! If you win you progress… however if you lose – you’re knocked out! Until there is one final coach remaining who will be crowned the GDS Cup winner!
