As expected, Sean Abbott, Beau Webster, Josh Inglis and Jhye Richardson will miss their Boxing Day BBL games due to being part of the Test squad, while Aaron Hardie has been named to return.

Abbott is out for the Sixers due to being with the Test squad in Melbourne, with Jackson Bird added in his place in the 14-player squad.

Webster is out with the Test squad and Adam Milne’s BBL stint is over. Marcus Stoinis is named after spending a few days in Perth earlier this week.
Hamish McKenzie hasn’t returned either after being a late withdrawal on Friday with a rib injury. The Stars update said: “McKenzie has been ruled out of the next two matches due to a rib injury and will be further assessed before the game against the Heat on 1st January.”

Perth Scorchers v Brisbane Heat
Aaron Hardie has been named in the Scorchers’ 14-man squad following a quad injury which forced him to miss their first 3 games.
Hardie comes in at the expense of Josh Inglis who, along with Jhye Richardson, is with the Australia Test squad in Melbourne.
