Tuesday’s injury reports are flying in with key updates on James Sicily, Zac Fisher, Colby McKercher, Josh Kelly, Jarrod Witts, Tom De Koning and many many more.

James Sicily will face a fitness test to prove his availability for Round 17 following a shoulder issue sustained against West Coast.
Hawthorn High Performance Manager Peter Burge said: “James had an incident with his shoulder on the weekend during the game and we didn’t put him back out there towards the end of the game, given the game’s situation.
“He’s reported in today and we’ve had a good look at him, and we’re going to we’ll have another look at him later in the week and we’ll make a call with his availability for the weekend.”
Zac Fisher will need to pass a fitness test to prove his availability to play on Round 17 after being subbed out on Saturday with a foot issue.
North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White said: “Zac had an incident where he twisted his foot in the second quarter. He presented with a midfoot sprain which was sore Sunday but is steadily progressing, so we’ll assess his function at the back end of the week to determine his availability.”
Colby McKercher is no lock to return for the Kangaroos just yet following 2 games in the VFL after a foot injury. The North update said: “Logue and McKercher both made it through increased gametime in the VFL over the weekend.
“The pair had a light session on Tuesday and will both look to press their case for selection on Thursday during main training.”
GWS have ruled out Josh Kelly for 4-5 weeks due to a calf strain on the opposite leg to that which he’d previously injured.
The Giants update said: “Kelly reported soreness following Saturday’s loss to the Crows with scans revealing a calf strain that will sideline him for four-to-five weeks.”
Gold Coast have ruled out ruckman Jarrod Witts from Saturday’s game against North Melbourne after he sustained a fractured vertebrae late against Collingwood.
Suns Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull said: “Jarrod received a knee to the back during a marking contest midway through the last quarter against Collingwood. He went for scans on Monday and the results show a small fracture in his back. He will miss this week’s match and be assessed next week before determining a return to play.”
Carlton’s report clarified Tom De Koning will be a test this week, with an “aim to train fully this week”. The Blues also said Matt Kennedy had been cleared of any damage to his knee and will face a fitness test too.
Callum Mills continues to close in on a return to AFL ranks. Sydney’s update said: “Callum continues to train fully with the AFL team. He will be a test to play next week.”
Geelong ruckman Toby Conway will be sidelined with a foot injury, opening the door for Sam De Koning have an extended run in the ruck.
Cats Assistant General Manager of Football Brett Johnson said: “Unfortunately, Toby has got a foot issue that we are still looking at and investigating. We will know more later this week and will provide an update then, for what that means this week and beyond.”
Richmond have listed Dustin Martin as a test for Round 16 due to back soreness. The Tigers said: “Will be further monitored throughout the week before a call is made on his availability for the trip to Perth.”
Essendon’s report noted Darcy Parish is eyeing off a return to play in around 3 weeks following a calf injury.
