Round 15 is behind us and we can finally say goodbye to the byes! As most teams will no doubt be close to complete, and generally very similar, today we take a look at the most unique options to help you make that final rank push or get the jump on your league mates.
The Under 10% Club
Here is a list of premium options that are currently sitting in under 10% of teams and could be just the meal ticket you need.
Tim Taranto ($926k, Mid, 2.4%)
Two hundreds since the bye for Taranto. He has done it before and a run of high scores looks very possible.
Adam Treloar ($950k, Mid, 2.3%)
How disrespected has this guy been all year? Going at 109 with a floor of 83. A great upgrade choice, regardless of being unique.
Josh Dunkley ($890k, Mid, 8.4%)
Has already seen a bump this week, but Dunkley is having a great year and is still under 10%.
Andrew Brayshaw ($864k, Mid, 6%)
Now this guy looked back to his best on the weekend. We all know what Brayshaw is capable of and if there is more to come, he is definitely under-priced.
Jordan Ridley ($816k, Def, 6%)
Ridley has not missed a beat since returning to the side. Although not the heights of his first game, all 90s since are still solid as a rock.
Lachie Neale ($866k, Mid, 6%)
The consistency is the main worry with Neale as he often cops the tag, but man when he is good, he is really good.
Max Holmes ($884k, Def/Mid, 8.1%)
Holmes has been unbelievably consistent this year. Only 1 score under 100 in his last 7.
Luke Davies-Uniacke ($863k, Mid, 6.5%)
Nothing under 94 in his last 6. LDU is producing the goods and is still very unique.
Rory Laird ($842k, Mid, 6.7%)
It is only 2 years ago that Laird was the highest averaging player in the game. A bit of an up and down year, but if he finds some consistency post bye he could be a bargain.
Dan Houston ($875k, Def, 8.2%)
Houston has been on a great run and the ball seems to be finding its way into the Power backline more and more. Saints this week…?
Bailey Dale ($865k, Def, 8.1%)
Do yourself a favour and go back and check Dale’s last 9 games since being sub. Top 6 defender and under 9% owned, yes please!
Jack Crisp ($893k, Mid/Def, 8.9%)
Crisp has scored 6 hundreds on the trot and this has coincided with Collingwood’s form improving so a move out of the midfield seems highly unlikely.
Some cheaper/riskier options you may like to consider include:
- Darcy Wilmott ($716k, Def, 1%, Last 3 Ave 100)
- Izak Rankine ($741k, Fwd, 5.7%, Last 3 Ave 96)
- George Wardlaw ($733k, Mid, 6.3%, Last 3 Ave 103)
- Touk Miller ($786k, Mid, 8.6%, Last Round 130)
- Jy Simpkin ($617k, Fwd/Mid, 8.1%, Last 3 Ave 92)
- Trent Rivers ($692k, Def, 0.9%, Last Round 115)
We are into the business end of the season now and finding the right upgrade is imperative. Be sure to check the upcoming draw and keep maximising value so you have cash at the end to make the big plays.
Good luck coaches!
