UPDATES
David Warner’s BBL availability is a point of contention having officially retired from Test cricket on Saturday. He won’t play on Monday but it has been promoted that he’ll play in Friday’s Round 8 Sydney Smash.
However there is a complication, with Warner’s brother’s wedding taking place on Friday in the Hunter Valley with the left-handed batsman to be in attendance. Warner noted he is hoping to fly from the Hunter Valley down to Sydney for the game.
“I’ve got a couple of aircrafts booked, pending weather,” Warner said. “It’s a fine line. I might be tight but I’m trying my best to make it work for that day.”
