Peter Siddle has been ruled out of the Adelaide Strikers’ Round 11 game against the Sydney Sixers, while Marcus Stoinis came close but didn’t return for the Melbourne Stars.

The Sydney Sixers named an unchanged 17-man squad for Tuesday’s game in Coffs Harbour against the Strikers.
The Strikers named a 13-man squad for the game, with Peter Siddle ($85k BWL) out along with Chris Lynn ($167k BAT) who has exited for the ILT20. Jordan Buckingham ($42k BWL) comes into the Adelaide squad.
Adelaide said in an update: “Peter Siddle hasn’t travelled to Coffs Harbour due to ongoing management of his long-standing back problem, but he will be available to play at Adelaide Oval against the Perth Scorchers on Friday.”

Marcus Stoinis ($128k BAT/BWL) missed the Melbourne Stars’ game on Monday. The Stars said in a update: “Was given until the last minute to prove his fitness but will miss again with his hamstring strain.”
Michael Neser ($136k BAT/BWL) starred in Monday’s game with a 4fa. He said: “Tonight felt as good as it’s come out all tournament… Personally bowling I felt very good early but that last over was a killer.”
