James Vince, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Akeal Hosein and Trent Boult’s final BBL games before flying to the ILT20 have been confirmed, while the Melbourne Stars named their squad for Tuesday’s derby.

The Melbourne Stars named an unchanged 16-man squad to face the Melbourne Renegades in Tuesday’s derby at the MCG.
Tom Rogers ($70k BAT) is included despite suffering a shoulder injury which saw him unable to continue to field in the New Year’s Eve game against Adelaide.
Jake Fraser-McGurk and Jack Prestwidge have been added to the Gades’ 15-man squad to replace the injured Nic Maddinson ($89k BAT) after a knee injury and Peter Handscomb ($51k BAT/WKP) who left the field on New Year’s Day due to heat exhaustion.
The Gades since confirmed Maddinson will miss the remainder of BBL|12 after scans confirmed a ruptured ACL.
Stand-in skipper Aaron Finch hinted Shaun Marsh ($117k BAT) would return after being managed. Finch said: “I assume he will be (back). He pulled up very sore in the legs after two quick games. Coming off a long lay-off with injury, I think it was the right call to make.”

James Vince’s ($101k BAT) departure date for the ILT20 has been confirmed, with the Sydney Sixers informing Honeyball that he will be available for both games of their Round 8 double on January 6 and January 8, before flying out.
However, Chris Jordan’s ($131k BWL) last game before he heads to the ILT20 is to be confirmed.
Renegades pair Akeal Hosein ($186k BWL) and Mujeeb Ur Rahman ($111k BWL) will also play their final games on January 7 (Round 8) against the Hobart Hurricanes before jetting to the ILT20.
Trent Boult ($125k BWL) will play his final game for the Stars against the Sixers on Friday against (Round 8) before heading to the ILT20.
