Domestic
Marsh Cup
Queensland beat NSW in the final one-day game prior to the BBL on Sunday with Max Bryant winning Player of the Match after scoring 88* from 53 balls coming in at five for the Bulls. NSW didn’t select Jason Sangha, while Daniel Sams was out with an injury.
Sheffield Shield
Thunder spinner Chris Green maintained his good recent form with nine wickets in NSW’s loss to WA, while Gades recruit Corey Rocchiccioli took an 8fa on a turning SCG track.
Prime Minister’s XI
Heat recruit Matt Renshaw scored 81 and 101* across two knocks in the tour game against the West Indies which ended as a draw.
Premier Cricket
NSW
Former Thunder all-rounder Arjun Nair claimed 3-73 from 31 overs in Saturday’s first day of two-day fixtures, having taken a 7fa last round. Most of the NSW reps were in action in Sunday’s Marsh Cup game, while a few played in the Prime Minister’s XI game too.

Victoria
In Saturday’s one-day games, Mackenzie Harvey found form with 71 from 129 balls for Carlton, while Jake Fraser-McGurk blazed 69* from 39 deliveries for Richmond. Mitch Perry took 4-23 for Richmond, while Wil Parker played but didn’t bowl.
Unsigned spinner Fawad Ahmed took 3-14 from eight overs for Melbourne University, while ex-Gades bat James Seymour made a century for Essendon.

Queensland
Heat replacement signing Josh Brown scored his second century in a month, crunching 131 from 79 balls for Northern Suburbs in the first day of their two-day match.

WA
Gades recruit Jonathon Wells scored his first century of the Premier Cricket season, with 112* from 187 balls for Perth. Unsigned WA youngster Teague Wyllie made a century for Rockingham-Mandurah too.
In Sunday’s T20 games, Nathan Coulter-Nile took 1-11 from four overs and Jason Behrendorff 2-34 from his four for Subiaco Floreat as they warm up for the BBL. Coulter-Nile has taken four wickets in three T20s over the past three weeks.
Stars batsman Hilton Cartwright spanked 52 from 31 balls for South Perth, taking 1-12 from two overs. Canes all-rounder D’Arcy Short took 2-9 from four overs for Willetton but failed with the bat, scoring 5 off 10 balls.

SA
Strikers fast bowler Henry Thornton maintained his excellent form with 5-38 from 15.4 overs for Kensington, while ex-Sixers spinner Lloyd Pope took a 3fa.
Unsigned SA batsman Nathan McSweeney scored 90* from 128 balls for Glenelg to continue his good run.

Tasmania
Stars all-rounder Clint Hinchliffe backed up last weekend’s century with 6-35 from 18.3 overs for Clarence in the first day of their two-day game.
Ex-BBL star James Faulkner was back in action for University of Tasmania for the first time this season, scoring 19 from 22 balls.
